@MonicaRidesMoto I had the same problem with not being able to hear my Scala Rider either. Have you tried using the Scala with ear plugs? I was wearing ear plugs on a long trip once-- turned on the Scala and I could hear clearly.

@uzi2004 I think you'll just have to see what fits you best. I tried on a Suomy and nothing else compared to it in fit and comfort!

You brought up a great point about the shield and where it likes to rest mid way through putting it up( I'm thinking of purchasing a Vandal). Ive worn an Suomy Extreme a number of times and basically there is no middle resting area, you either have it all the way up, or all the way down. A lot of times, cheaper helmets have more definite locking steps on the shield, whereas Suomy's are nice and smooth.

Closing the vents don't help the noise.
I had to rewire my Scala Riders to work with earbuds instead of the speakers because I couldn't hear anything with those speakers.
I'll have to try my iPhone setup in there...I did it vertically and recorded the ground for 2 hours! haha

@MonicaRidesMoto Yeah, I need to figure out my Scala situation... I watched your video about it! I don't even know if i'll be able to talk and ride at the same time though, haha. It's kinds nice to just ride!
