Note: Les Brutes' Steer taking the oar out twice therefore losing control. NO "Hold the boat" call! No hard left.

I hate steers who don't make the attempt to stop the crash.

In the end, DCH was safe.

Hi guys, I was one the Brutes paddlers and boy was this a funny fucked up race!

I'm glad nobody was hurt.

Did you know that the next morning we were in a very important newspaper?

( La Presse) with a very cool shot from the docks. We could see the DCH guys in the water, with the Brutes in the background. Nice shot!

But we felt so bad and waited for the DCH team at the docks to welcome and cheer for them. It was a very cool and once in a lifetime moment.

Oh yeah I was there on a dock when it happened ... Wasn't quite sure though how it happened but now I can it's because the other boat came into it o_O I guess the steer guy didn't do his job properly ... Good video and nice race, I really enjoyed the festival this year, everyone did great. The fushia non fast-dry t-shirts will be back next year =)

Im from one of the ny teams, and we respect dch. im glad they were okay. my coaches and there coach go way back so glad everyone was cool. great vid.
