  • thanks so much for posting! who sang more songs: Charlie or the other guitarist? I know Charlie wrote King Size Cigarette.

  • I've now posted all 14 songs from the cable TV show. Charlie sings most, but they divided it up quite a bit.

  • This made me happy. Are there any more Law videos on here? What I would pay large money to see is of the Des Moines performance of "Shaft" with special spotlight on the backup vocalists.

  • All 14 of the videos are up now, plus Rope Man for 15.

  • Thank you Michelle - the "Shaftettes" myself, Heather Stanfield and I think Sally Young. TRES special. I think my favorite thing about all of these is watching Prince Burns the Dance Instigator. Brilliant. And lovely that he is leading his Presbyterian flock today.

  • yes, that along with the tape of Freddie Prince and Friends and the Stones on Saturday Night Live, which was then accidentally taped over by our good friend Suzanne talking with her friends, one of which was Jane. That indeed took all of the fun out of sneaking into her house in the middle of the night to watch it.

  • thanks!

  • John - Greg Owen from ATOY is in the red/orange shirt - don't recognize the others

  • Haha Id forgotten all about the young executives, they were a really great band. Whatever happened to them anyways did they get signed?

  • It was the Timber Tap; we played there too: The Stoplights. it was more like an orange piece of paper than a poster. That was our one and only gig besides senior keg. What a better place to play punk than a biker bar.

  • I remember these guys well. Playing at that place across from Mothers all the time. Des Moines had a pretty good nmusic scene at the time. I still have a poster for "Music For No Mans Land" which was a showcase for all the new bands in DSM in 1980 with the Law, The Edge, The Young Executives, Burt Ward and ATOY plus others.
