I know many potheads.
The lazy unmotivated slackers were mostly lazy unmotivated slackers to begin with. They didn't turn that way because of smoking pot.
I know and I've known people that smoke pot regularly that are overachievers.
Pot smokers aren't just fast food workers. They are your friends, your family, doctors, lawyers, politicians and even your president. Obama smoked the herb. So did bush. So did many, many others.

It really depends on the kind of weed you are smoking. Not all weed causes "laughing and a sense of happiness". That doesn't sound smart at all. The only reason people like your comment is because they like weed.
