The Everly Brothers...how sweet it was and still is...music to capture and inspire the heart. Is that too big a claim? I still recall my neighborhood heartthrobs and how Don and Phil's (and many other's) songs were a theme for my yearnings, which as a boy of pre-teen years I didn't understand at all. Listening now carries me back. Lucky me i remember all the words and melodies...after an hour of this I'll probably have no voice tomorrow!

I'm 47 and have been a big Everly Brother's fan for a long time. Imagine my excitement when I went to a Simon and Garfunkel show sometime around 2003 in Boston, and - much to my surprise - S&G introduce the Everly Brothers to the crowd in the middle of the show. As much as I like S&G, I didn't want Don and Phil to leave the stage after performing three songs.
