Handcar dumbness at East Broad Top

Dudes from the Trolley told me I could investigate at my will... stumbled across this in one of the houses and took it for a quick spin.

@Conrail6370 they couldn't arrest this individual for what he did, they could ask him to leave but no legal action can be taken. There obviously wasn't any device preventing the car from being used, and there didn't look to be any sign stating not to touch. I'm not saying what he did was not wrong, but I am saying that the museum has some fault in this.

And I agree to what PArails is saying I'm a volunteer at Steamtown NHS and a member of the Friends of the Railroad Museum of PA. this kind of stuff is not premitted. And if we find out who you are we will have you arested.

With all do respect, the East Broad Top and the Rockhill Trolley Museum are completely different entities, and you had no business doing what you did. As an EBT employee who takes tourist for rides on the speeders and handcar, I can honestly say this type of activity is frowned upon and will ultimately end the operations of these historic pieces of equipment. Please, don't think you can just do anything you want.
