Alle meine Entchen, redux

All Germans know and love the Kinderlied 'Alle Meine Entchen'. Miss V decided to bring it to life with the help of some friends.

I actually had a debate with the cameraman (who you can always hear laughing all the time) about this.

When I learnt German, we learnt to used Accusativ for movement (A for Active) and Dativ for when there's no movent (D for Dormant). So it depends on what the duckies' heads are doing. If they are going into the water (movement), it would be 'in das Wasser'. if they were already in the water(no movement), it would be 'in dem Wasser'.

Okay, that's my Friday afternoon grammar lesson...

Ist ja lustig...kenn das als "Köpfchen IN DAS Wasser...". Hab ich mein ganzes Leben mit einer Lüge gelebt oder ist die Version woanders auch verbreitet?
