318ti 11.3 @ 129 MPH Atco 4/3/12

This is my best time yet. 11.33 w/1.77 60' crossing the line at just under 129mph. I was the second car of the day to race after they spent a half hour prepping the track. I'm pretty sure that's how I was able to cut a 1.7 60'. I actually didn't give it my all as I almost always lose traction in 1st. Probably could have gone a little faster if I had known the tires would stick so well!

Yup, Carson is on the mark.

The ZF's can handle 500 whp for tens of thousands of miles. Getrags (e36) will blow up at this hp. ZF's start grenading around the 700+ whp mark.

What type of BMW are you building Marcos?

p.s. I ran a 10.9 @ 134mph in August, but don't have video of it. That was at 20psi

what you have in you engine?

I have a stock 328i with M52B28 engine and I want build a turbo engine

I will have problems with stock transmission and diff ?

what you chance nin your car ? alot of questions haha

Thank you Marcos. The engine is fully forged (Wiseco piston/Pauter rod) S52 crank, S52 cams, but small bore and comes in at just about 3.0L. I'm still running the Zf 5speed transmission and e36 M3 drive shaft. Differential is an LSD out of an e30 (stock) and hasn't blown up yet. I've found that stock motors don't last long when you beat on them like I do! (i've blown 2 stock motors)

129MPH is pretty damn fast, i got my ti up to 120MPH once and it felt crazy! like i was floating (in a guided by rails sort of way) it was fantastic!

I believe all of the e36 328i are ZFs and the M3. I forget on the 325i year split e36. the 318 are pretty much all Getrags. Generally speaking

and last question, this ZF trans is stock for all bmws? or only in M3's ?

the 328i transmissions is strong ? how much in whps ?
