@danielkjohansson I know it sucks right? The kid (Nathan Gamble) who plays Gordon's son is defo not returning. This scene made me a fan of his and i have been following him ever since, so i know that he has not been invited back for TDKR.

I'm almost 100% sure that Gordon's family is gonna have no part in the story in TDKR, because basing on TDK and the trailer for TDKR they have nothing to do with the plot. This isn't one of the comic universes, it's the nolanverse.

That'd make more since in the comic story wise, however because almost everything else has been different I'm not really expecting it. I'm just kinda expecting the son more because Two Face made such a huge deal that Gordon loved him out of his family the most, therefore if he was the last in the family, he would feel unloved from anyone else and hatred for Two-Face.
This is all just speculation, mind you. It's going to be awesome no matter what happens.

BEST SCENE OF THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. Performances from Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Chris Bale and Nathan Gamble (the kid) were FUCKING AMAZING This musical score playing alongside 2face spilling out his dark soul had me trembling in my seat. Cinema and acting at its very best here.
