This 'all-star' band, formed especially for the occasion, comprises the best accordionists from the region and the diaspora.

This 'all-star' band, especially created for the occasion, will honour the magic of Balkan accordion playing. The project brings together the greatest virtuosos from a variety of styles, from the classical playing of the Serbian Boban Bjelić, to the extreme Bulgarian ornamentation of Peter Ralchev, via the legendary Ionică Minune, the Romanian who has dominated the world of the accordion for the last 30 years. Other artists accompanying them are: Tcha Limberger (violin and vocals), Cristinel Turturica (cimbalom), Angel Dimitrov (guitar), Vilmos Csikos (double bass), and surprising guests!
A collaboration with the Institutul Cultural Român and Kopanica asbl, under the artistic direction of Nicolas Hauzeur.

Deze supergroep werd speciaal voor de gelegenheid gevormd en brengt hulde aan de magische Balkan-accordeon. Het ensemble bestaat uit virtuozen met uiteenlopende stijlen: Boban Bjelić (Servië) met zijn klassieke spel, Peter Ralchev (Bulgarije) met zijn doorgedreven ornamentiek en natuurlijk ook Ionică Minune (Roemenië), die de voorbije dertig jaar bepalend was voor de accordeonmuziek. Ze worden begeleid door Tcha Limberger (viool, zang), Cristinel Turturica (cimbalom), Angel Dimitrov (guitaar), Vilmos Csikos (contrabas) en surprise guests.
In samenwerking met het Institutul Cultural Român en Kopanica vzw, artistieke leiding: Nicolas Hauzeur.

Ce super groupe, spécialement créé pour le Festival, mettra à l'honneur la magie du jeu de l'accordéon des Balkans. Ce projet rassemble les plus grands virtuoses pour une rencontre entre les styles : du jeu classique du serbe Boban Bjelić, à l'extrême ornementation bulgare de Peter Ralchev en passant par le légendaire Ionică Minune, le roumain qui a marqué les 30 dernières années de l'histoire de l'accordéon. D'autres artistes les accompagnent : Tcha Limberger (violon, voix), Cristinel Turturica (cimbalom), Angel Dimitrov (guitare) et Vilmos Csikos (contrebasse), et de surprenants invités !
