Peace and love brother - we are divided by a common language, Tull are an English band and a lot of the lyrics are hard to understand to non Brits - just as I struggled in the sixties with American songs about Chevy to the Levee, 47 Chevy and they call it a woodie (man that took me decades to decipher!!) Live long and prosper!!

Ive been to every convenient Tull concert to whatever area I lived in since 1973. I have all albums and bootlegs. The height of Jethro Tull's popularity was in the early and mid 70's for your information. There were music videos even before this back a few years to 1972- on TV. There was a show called "Music Connection" that had some primitive rock videos. I don't know why some people on the Internet have to be so rude and hostile - especially about stuff they do not know about.

Hi Mvguy - were you alive in 1976? there were no music videos, no MTV, computers were huge boxes full of paper cards with holes punched in them. You were lucky if you even heard a mention of Jethro Tull on TV. The lyrics refer to Blackpool (think Coney Island?) Rich widowed landlady(you stayed in a guesthouse) - give me your back door key if you are 39 etc, These are the first attempt at music videos! Have you ever been to a Tull Concert? I doubt it, you wouldnt ask about stage presence!!

Great musician, but the videos and even stage presence of this great band always a sticking point. Love how Martin is pacing about in the beginning of Big Dipper, and of course John Evan is awesome. I like Jethro Tull best about this time.
