@trevorfurst I recently heard about The Hobbit trailer being released! I haven't looked at it, but I may have to go see that, even though I know movies never do books justice. it looks like I'm going to have to wait longer than I thought to get the Kindler, but the friend getting it for me has all of Tolkien's books and she will put them on there for me =] I look forward to reading them; I love fantasy adventure and I can only imagine how wonderful they will be.

@ashyzeebraah As an avid reader of Tolkien, I can tell you that the world he's created with Lord of the Rings is profoundly unique. The settings, the characters, even the brief interjections of poetry, all within a timeframe of thousands of years more than The Hobbit or the trilogy. It truly is a beautiful world, built solely for the reader.

@Elenathiell it's amazing how many things are actually connected by what seems to be the obscure...especially in music/words. it's profound, even. =] and I'm sure I will enjoy it. I read The Hobbit ages ago and can't remember much for the life of me, but I always meant to go through and see what other worlds he's created.

@ashyzeebraah Prepare to be amazed. Tolkien has never yet failed to disappoint. It is my firm belief that he was (is) the greatest author of high fantasy Earth shall ever know.
Beautiful, really...Owl City and Tolkien linked, in a way, by a single lyrical phrase.

@Elenathiell nay, a Donnie Darko addict, but the quote goes "This famous linguist once said that of all the phrases in the English language, of all the endless combinations of words in all of history, that Cellar Door is the most beautiful". and I only recently found out it was Tolkien =] if I ever get to a library or a Kindler, I will be reading his works though.

@ashyzeebraah, do I detect a fellow Tolkien addict?

owl city's music builds a complicated city of dreams and songs where we can say hello Seattle freely as we watch the sky diver on umbrella beach.Fireflies surround us with fuzzy blue lights as the vanilla twilight glows with life. We ride to the sky on the wing of a hawk where we land safely at the designer skyline. We go swimming in Miami in a saltwater room
