i heard that the skylines were running from 25psi to 30psi. these cars are absolute animals and could kill any aussie holden or ford racing car we have today. pitty the r35 isn't racing yet it would teach the v8's a good lesson on how to build a real race car!!!

Calsonic R32 GT-R. The most legendary Group A car in my book.

Dominating since group A and beyond...For me since 99 the GTR has been king especially my R32 built by XS engineering.. I put a little X on my fender representing for every decent american car I handed it to... needless to say im getting almost to my rear quarter panel.. No "pro 10.5" american shit box, in the same amount of street trim my car is in can fade my dog engaged 711whp twin t51 HKS hair drier force fed, fire breathing stroked RB and thats a fact..BITCHES

It makes me all sentimental to see those cars racin around back then. And to tyndago, I think everyone can agree that the r32 has and will out live any car in existance. It's a car that has so much history for such a short lifespan. It's also a supercar that can be purchased for under 20k. I like nearly anything with an engine, but the 32 will always be the car to beat. I know this is taking it a bit far, but I've devoted my life to the GTR, and I even have a GTR tat. It's what we live for

the Gibson GTRs were by far the best and fastest engineered GrpA gtrs in the world. They were never allowed direct competition with the factory cars or factory engined customer cars due to the superior performance of the Aussie built and tuned engines. as far as i know, the only time the Gibson cars raced in Japan was after they were sold off due to GrpA ending in Australia and therefore not run by Gibson at that time

Gibsons had the fastest gtr's in the world.Read the interview Fred did in Australian Muscle Car magazine. They were to take their cars to Japan to compete but were asked by the head of NISMO not to because they were too powerful and had better electronics which Gibbo designed.

@andmouse1 The engine management actually came from the US. NPTI.

The R32 never raced in the British Group A which was a shame but weird was that Holden raced in brition with a V8???
How much boost of turbo did the Group A R32 used?

Group A R32, I have seen a few different numbers. 1.5~1.8 bar.
