I always wanted to know what our constitutional rights look like under a cops boot after stopping on them... Interesting. Glad to hear you were done and freed, were you able to sue or anything?
-
@SpeedTrapAhead ...doesnt seem very intelligent to trryy and cause problems with the law... dont you have better things to do lol how old are you? kinda pathetic. im pretty sure ive seen some videos around lakeway with people giving the local cops a hard time, i wouldnt put it past this sketch-ball creep

Kudos to you my friend, the cops need to remeber their limits and never forget they work for us, the 'people' not the other way around.

What was the arrest for? I still dont know what they detained you for?
The court cast finally concluded on December 15th.
NOT-Guilty on all charges!!
Put on your gas masks; because, if you think the CRIMINAL case caused a stink within the ranks...
Well, just wait!

are you a police officer? you were standing around, filming people...a little suspicious...seems you should do more productive things with you life...

Am I a police officer? Did you even WATCH the video?
Hmmm... Somebody on a public sidewalk with a video camera is "suspicious"??
"...do more productive things with [my] life..."??? This, coming from someone who has watched nearly two thousand videos on YouTube?

What you *think* you found is a loophole in section 38.02. You NEED a proper ID that SHOWS that basic information.
Section 38.15 is similar to how slander works. You CAN tell people about how dissatisified you are with a company; but you cannot publicly write about it.
And no; I do not roll over and pee when a cop approaches XD I just know not to disrespect them or break the law :P

Well, once again, this is Texas; and, although I may NEED a proper I.D. (for banking, getting into clubs, renting a car, etc.), I am NOT required to have one or show one when asked, PERIOD (unless I'm driving, of course).
And, your analogy with regards to Sec. 38.15 makes no sense. This doesn't have anything to do with talking/writing about someone. BTW, Look up the definitions of 'slander' and 'libel'. They have to do with FALSE statements. I can write anything I want so long as it's true.
