  • OMG...just like when New Orleans got hit..how about the animals?

  • Sad to say, lots of the animals were killed as well. Some of them were found hanging dead on electrical cables up in the air. That's how high the flooding was. You wouldn't want to see the photos.

  • I'll take your word Kuya I will just get upset if I see it....I'm glad that your family's safe...the donation part just click on the link right?

  • IF Paypal is easier, I added the Paypal email address for the Philippine Red Cross in the description.

  • sana ok lang mga relatives namin dyan sa Metro Manila, wala pa kasi kaming narereceive na news sa kanila.

  • The problem is that most areas had their phones and power knocked out so people went out of touch quickly. Try not to worry as friends of ours are slowly reporting in. Have you heard from yours yet?

  • Nature is a massive force to contend. Hang in there Philippines...Australia is helping you too. Everything will be ok again.

  • I just heard on the UK TV News that there is another storm on it's way reaching the Philippines by Friday, I hope it's not going to be as bad :(

But as the ground there is so saturated and water logged, it will not take much for more floods to develop :(

Even though I am not working anymore and on benefit, I try to help out a bit each month with what I can afford to send there. At least I have a roof over my head.

    Take care Gerry

  • I'm still trying to find out about my grandma and the rest of my family in Manila...but I know we've survived a lot of these. This one was worse than a lot of the others though.

Thanks for posting this Gerry. I really appreciate it.

  • It is now time to side our differences, and help out our countrymen. =]

  • During these trying times, we draw strength and compassion from the unity of common people. Why does it take for a major calamity for us to witness the triumph of the human spirit?

Duon lang natin nasasaksihan ang kabutihan ng tao.

Anyway, thanks for this video, Sir Gerry.

Let's all work together to give donations to

    everyone affected by the typhoon.

  • Many of my friends were affected by this storm. Many are without homes and have lost all of their possessions. I have been so worried about them all these past few days.
