Windows Movie Maker Fix

Although a very useful program, for many users WMM is a source of endless torment. Plauged by freezing, and crashing, it warranted hundreds of fixes, most of them involving replacing or registering DLLs or reinstalling WMM. This fix is much simpler and, unlike many other fixes I tried, got the program to work on my computer.

First of all, go into your options and enable automatic downloading of codecs. Then, go into the compatibility tab and disable the MPA splitter and MPA decoder Filters, if they are available

Dud I have the sam windows movie maker type.. but umm mines was wroking find resonely untile well I dont know what happend but.. every time I try to put a clip on their it would work and stuff and after the third clip you know after I press mute and all. the windows movie make would freeze and some times it would unfreez but when I try to play the video box on the side the min. thing on the bottom would be running but there's just blackness. So please tell what I need to do...

First off trying installing CCleaner and seeing if it helps, if not we can proceed from there.

That didnt work it is still acting up with the black ness and all so what next. ( Please let it be free).

Do you have a lot of clips in WMM from older projects you dont need anymore? Sometimes deleting stuff that WMM doesnt need can free up some memory and get it running

can SOMEONE help me... i try to save movie file, then it starts to download. BUT then it STOPS loading it like at 35% and nothing else happens.. please i need help. anyone???

I tried this. but it didnt work.

and i'm SO mad. i worked like 5 hours on a music video. and it didnt recover the file. so now i have to do my 5 hours worth of editing AGAIN ;l

for the Compbality tab, where do you get the 4 things? i dont have those, i have none...

Like do you mean like in my cloection.. are like when go to file then you see the projects that your working on because if your talking about that I dont know how to delet the stuff on file..
