i used to play this when i was a kid. anyone know if all those teleports were there on atari? i spent a million hours playing this when i was 7 & 8. totally ruined my subbuteo skills.
damm this version looks more greater then the nes version wich comes nowhere near the arcade version.
damm why sega failed the console war against nintendo, sega deserved to be the winner since their console were more powerfull then nintendo,s consoles.
wich is very inportant to ansuring good arcade conversions etc,,,
Also, the SMS version has warps/teleports I was not aware of (4-1 to 5-1) and that do not exist in the arcade version, and Tiki walks a lot faster on his own right, making levels shorter (very noticeable in mazey levels such as 5-2). Overall very interesting video, it made me go back analyzing my own NZS arcade performance :-p
That's the fastest way to beat the game without cheating, using TAS tools or RNG/status manipulation. You actually get to skip a lot of normal stages this way, and it works on many versions of the game.
It's awfully easier than arcade version

Holy crap, there's even a 5-3 to 5-4 teleport AND temp invulnerability xD that's really cheap ;-)

Very interesting speedrun, I can do the same on the arcade version, although the path to level 3-4 is different.
