Henry Paulson began his career in the Nixon Pentagon in 1970. He then served as assistant to John Ehrlichman from 1972 to 1973.

*************************

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, who recently asked Congress for a $700 billion bailout of Wall Street, had almost no connection whatsoever to the Watergate scandal of the Nixon Administration.

Any attempt to smear Henry Paulson by pointing out that he served in the Nixon Administration in two different capacities is unfair and misleading.

Yes, its true that Henry Paulson was an Assistant to John Ehrlichman from 1972 to 1973. And its true that John Ehrlichman was subsequently convicted of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury.

And although Henry Paulson worked directly under John Ehrlichman at the height of the Watergate scandal that sent John Ehrlichman to federal prison, Henry Paulson was never accused of any wrongdoing.

That is a simple fact. And just because he was part of the disgraced and corrupt Nixon administration doesnt mean that Henry Paulson is a crook or that he has some sort of cynical greedy Machiavellian design.

Henry Paulson didnt ask for a lot of money to bail out his buddies, hes doing it for you, to clean up this horrible mess that all you irresponsible homeowners have created.

Henry Paulsons experience in the Watergate-era Nixon administration is no reflection at all on his sterling character.

After all, Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld were both in the Nixon administration, and they are both honest men of integrity, just like Henry Paulson.

  • Damn, it's a real shame you've nothing to say for over a year now. I suppose I shall give up on calling you out. I hope you're enjoying the new regime, I know the rest of us are.

  • Still nothing. prolefeed has truly run away or he's still drunk from the innaguration party back in January. Okay, he's had nine months and he looks a lot like a lame duck to me. He did win the nobel peace prize, impressive, especially on the heels of dissing the dalai lama. We all know what a war mongering brute he is. Prolefeed, why r u running? Obama is in and the country is in the shitter, where's the voice of the people? Put down the scotch and tell van jones you'll call him back later....

  • The more time that passes, the more everybody should see Prolefeed for what he is. I always enjoyed your videos and found them to be somewhat informational and very entertaining. Your silence tells me you have no defense for the new administrations obvious lack of attachment to the American people. We were told that unemployment would not rise above a certain percentage, which it has. Now we are told that the stimulus was not designed to bring us out of recession but was intended to stall it.

  • Where you been, Brother Prole? be Seeing You.

  • By the way sir, I'd like to see a video about the crooked tax practices of President Obama's appointees. I'd like to see you try it without mentioning Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice or any of the others. While you're at it, are we still six months away from total victory in Iraq with the savior in office? I really do enjoy your videos, I'm just wondering how you'll respond to all of this craziness.

  • All I can say is, misleading. As with any form of propoganda you have to consider the salesman. All any of you know about prolefeed is that he makes entertaining videos with some truth and a lot of B.S. I wonder with all this economic turmoil why Mr. Prolefeed has not yet attacked the Obama administration as he did the Bush administration. It is simple, he's not the voice of the people you thought he was, he's a democrat propogandist. Not that it's a bad thing. just call him what he is.

  • Let's not forget the most illustrious protege of the Richard "Peace With Honor" Nixon regime of them all - one George W. Bush, who as I recall was a Young Republican who helped with the model of integrity that was the 1972 GOP campaign.

    Poor CREEP.

    What was their downfall?

    A single patch of duct-tape.

  • Whew! Thanks for the info ProLefeed.

For a second there I thought I was being ripped off.

I will let CNN,FOX and MSNBC know immediately so they can tell the masses it is all legit.

    Damn homeowners!

They are always screwing up everything.

  • Your very welcome,

Its amazing how much of this goes back to Nixon and Reagan, more people should be aware of it. I think that if the masses knew the whole truth about these poicies, and how and why they were implemented, the Republican Party would be outlawed.

  • Thanx for sending me this, I didn't know about Paulson's ties to Nixon/Ehrlichman. I knew of Cheney/Rumsfeld. Interesting how dubya keeps recycling these hacks. Heavy sigh, only one more month of this nightmare.

How 'bout Alan Greenspan's confession to Congress that, (effectually) unregulated free market fundamentalism, i.e. Reaganomic trickle down economics is a failure, and that the greed factor outweighs any supply and demand self righting balance.

    Let bad business fail.
