My MTB downhill crash over stile cop

this is me stupidly trying a jump on my gt i drive that im not ready for yet skill wise it seems , just got back from hopital and it seems ill live lol . ive only been downhilling for about 1 month so it was bound to happen sooner or later

Fair play to you mate! Do all these 'armchair' riders a favour and grab your Orange, your proper camera, take all you've learned these past 4 years and nail this jump!? At least you've got your hands on a decent bike, and not a spunked stained keyboard like most of the chumps that have commented on this vid! All the best (Y)

well all in all, shouldent have bothered tryin the jump if your that shit and should have bothered filming it because the cameers shit!! all you have to do is pull up a little bit keep the bike level in mid air and straight?? nt that hard?

ok then people trying to learn downhill should bother then in your eyes , everybody gets better over time plus that was on a gt i-drive lol but now i have an orange patriot that soaks up must drops for me now :) + i do have high quality filming equipment but this was a spur of the moment think when out so a camera phone was all we had availible . Where are all your cool vids then stiggywiggywoo , dont have any eh ....... iether you dont even own a recording device or your just all talk ?????

I've just watched the video a few times to try and work out why you got caught out, with the video paused at 29 seconds, you look a little too far forward and upright with the body position, keeping the lower body position in what they call 'attack' and pushing the bars forward through the transition may have helped prevent that wobble on landing, causing you to come off, not a D/H rider myself though, but watched enough videos to know how it's done. Best of luck with D/H riding for the future

I love this, not for the crash but for the fact that after hospitalising himself it spurred him on to get a better bike and become a more skillful rider. we always learn from our mistakes. nice one Bates2K.
