Not everyone knows how to appreciate Kokia's music. Most people only care for mainstream pop like Lady Gaga, AKB47, SNSD etc. A true artist's works like Kokia's is not for shallow people indeed.

I think that's what true talent is.

She is a bit more popular in America now because of her HUGE voice contrabution in the Ar Tonelico game series. She sings ALOT of those songs. Adn now anime broadcasted in America have openeings and endings with her music.

@Proverbs31intraining I tend to disagree: my daughter and I are American, and love Kokia! Maya Sakamoto is also incredible, as are Kanon Wakeshima and On/Off.
