Sun Warrior Chocolate Maca Java Jolt:

8 oz. of iced brewed organic coffee
1 to 2 scoops of Sunwarrior Protein (chocolate flavor)
1 tsp of Raw Maca Powder
1 tbsp of "Sunfood Nutrition" Raw Chocolate Powder or Nibs
1 to 2 tbsp of Organic Goji Berries
Organic cinnamon to taste
Your choice of 1 tbsp of Hemp oil, Flax oil, or Coconut oil
1 tbsp "Sunfood Nutrition" Tocotrienols
Lots of ice
The following shake is for people who still drink coffee, can be substituted with water ..

  • Is it safe to use that much maca (looks like you added 2 TBS)? The directions on my bottle of maca says only to use 1/6 to 1/3 of a tsp.

  • @TerraRyzer I recommend starting at the minimal dosage on all superfoods and increase gradually and at your comfort level. I've built a high tolerance for maca. This particular smoothie is for two. Hope this helps :-)

  • that is a crap ton of maca. :P i have been taking it for a while but if i put more than 1 tbs in a smoothie it just overpowers everything. I feel like taking small amounts is just as benificial.

  • I prefer making smoothies from scratch - it allows me to create my own flavors, keep it vegan and takes no more time than these. I get my supplies from "love street living foods" online, they have all these products - raw, vegan, organic. Great prices. Thanks for the info though...Smoothies are great!
