I don't know if youre aware of this but this is one of the driving missions. In them, you drive cars that arent yours and you therefore cannot adjust any of their settings. You can't turn of the driving aids in this part of the game.

@driftkid93308 wow such a shame... gt5 of course took five years doing all that research for the cars and hw they came about their stats the regulations of the grand prixs their position and the standard cars still look just as good as the premium check out the gtone forza doesnt even have license tests so it isnt even a driving sim

I believe GT4 looks best on an analog tv. I used to run my ps2 with component cables and ran the game output in 1080i and it looked great on a 57" rear projection tv.
tried it on an LCD and it just looked like rubbish =(

never compare games by watching vids offline. the only way to compare is to set them side by side on the same kinds of tv's. iv done that and gt 4 was the worst of the buch in graphics and physics and i used to love gt till i got forza. when it comes to comparing forza 3 and gt 5 when it comes out just remember that forza had 2 years of development and gt 5 has 5+ years. i still love gt but id take forza over it most of the time.

dont kid yourself i love both forza and GT but forza 2 is better looking than gt4 and forza 3 is way better looking then forza 2 but gt5p has a little edge over forza 3 i own all of them btw
I was watching some comparison vids of Forza 2, Forza 3, and NFS Shift on Laguna Seca with the Ford GT... and to be honest.. Gran Turismo 4 STILL looks just as good. and it's a PS2 game!
Can't wait for GT5... oh god...

I was nearly ready to pull the trigger on a PS3 after the price drop but then I found out that GT5 isn't going to come out until NEXT year. Jeez, another wait. I still might get it sooner and get Prologue for the time being. I'm also debating whether I should get Gran Turismo PSP or not. I don't care about looks, I'm more interested in game play.

yeah i know.. like spring 2010 =(.. gran turismo psp plays really nice.. but fair warning it has no career mode. You pick a track, pick a car, pick a mode and race.. that's about all there is to it.

I wasn't really expecting much from GT PSP. I don't think I'm looking for a career mode on a mobile device. I'll bet there's not much in the way of endurance races, either. Surely no 24 hr. Sarthe. Haha. I have no problem with just spot racing to entertain me for ten or fifteen minutes. I was playing Need for Speed for PSP so it figured I'd give GT a try to compare the experience.

hey i like your driving im 11 and im quite good of a driver at this course but im rubbish compared to you how do you find the speed to go into the corners apart from practising billy ;)

It really just takes lots of practice. If I stay away from the game any length of time, say months of not touching the game, my driving skills really go to hell and I have to start practicing all over again in order to get good times. No lie. It would take about a week or so of constant practice to get back to a decent level. I'm over 60 years old so it would be a lot easier for you to get and keep your skills than it is for me.
