  • The QC is talking nonsense at the end: yes, parliament under Henry Tudor revoked the Titulus Regius but it could only do so (and only did it) because that was what the Tudor king wanted. Under King Richard it would have been different - parliament could not (and actually, still cannot) revoke something without royal assent.

    Witness is biased - what a strange thing to say. And that after Starkey put up his show.

  • Witness is very biased. The prosecution counsel is right: it is pretty transparent that Dr Shaw preaching the bastardy of Edward IV's children from St Pauls is just too convenient. One would have to believe that the art of statecraft does not exist not to be able to see this.
