Cubs @ Cardinals July 6th

CUBS BEAT THE CARDINALS 7-1 on a laggy humid day.

Both Pujols and Lee nearly hit homeruns, but they hit the muggy, humid air of flooded-at-the-time St. Louis. Chicago had Marshall as the starter, St Louis had Wellemeyer starting. Both had decent starts, but Wellemeyer comes undone, and then they put in Perez and this apparent joker last name Springer, who handed it to us on a platter. CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!

Overall, I like New Busch. A lot more homey, despite the newness. Even where I was at on the third terrace, first base line, there were great sightlines to see anything and everything. Naturally, wearing Cubbie Blue makes you enemy of the state, but mostly good stuff from their fans.
