My doc used to do that when I said "JB want some..." then he would cock his head to the side every time we said it wondering of we were going to say "treat" or "walk"...and when we did he would go crazy and start barking and jumping and running around the housearound the house...but he was really vicious so we had to put him down :(

My dog used to cock her head to the side like that when she heard something strange, but she doesn't do that anymore and hasn't for a long time. She's 12, so maybe she figured she's heard everything. Or maybe she's deaf.
