VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Welcome to the first video of the fast track. We're not going to waste any time here, so first things first, you need to open a Moneybookers account. The link to Moneybookers can be found below, so right click on it now and select "Open in a new tab".
After this video has finished, enter your details with Moneybookers and create your account. Make sure you make it a GBP, EUR or USD account, I don't care which, just pick one of those major currencies, and do all of your trading in that currency. Once your account has been created, click on the Upload Funds button. Pick which method of funding you want to use, then initiate the transfer into your Moneybookers account. Most people will want to transfer all of their trading capital into their Moneybookers account, but if you have more than $20,000 then you may want to check to make sure that the transfer limits imposed by Moneybookers will not inhibit your ability to use all of your funds freely.
Now that money transfer will take a few days, so you we have some time to kill while this happens. What we are going to do with this time is verify yourself at your Moneybookers account, register at 5 bookmakers, familiarise yourself with these bookmakers, and start looking for arbs.
So first, looking below the video again, click on the link to CompareBookmakers.com. Go and have a look at that page right now and you will see 5 bookmaker banners on it. While I am talking, open all of those bookmakers in new tabs. Once you are done doing that, then come back to this video again.
What you are to do while you wait for the next fast track email and for your funds to reach Moneybookers, is to register at all five of these bookmakers. Before you register, search the bookmaker for any bonus offers that are available. Find the terms and conditions for the bonus offer and take notes of any of the points of interest about that bonus. For example, is there a time limit on claiming the bonus? Is there a requirement to receive the bonus? How much can you get? What are the rollover requirements, and what counts towards the rollover? How long do you have to roll it over? Keep a record of all of these points for each of the bookmaker bonuses as you sign up.
Once you have successfully registered at every one of these bookmakers then you should start familiarising yourself with them. First of all, compare the bookmakers sport selections. Do they all cover the same sports? The same leagues within those sports? And the same bets within those leagues? A simple activity to explore this, is to pick one of the bookmakers at random, pick a sport at random, pick a match within that sport, and then pick a bet type. Then try and find that exact same bet at all of the other bookmakers.
While you are doing that, you might as well write down and compare the odds available from all 5 of the bookmakers for this particular bet type - is there an arb there? It is not likely - but this is basically what arbing is. So you should do it again. Do it at least 5 times, starting with a different bookmaker each time, and trying to pick a different sport and bet type each time.
Once you have done that five times, then I have one more drill for you to do. I want you to pick a major soccer league, and a match within that Soccer league. In that match I want you to go to all five of the bookmakers and collect all of the odds for the home-draw-away market, the Asian handicap market (that's both half point and quarter point markets) and in the double chance markets. And I want you to look at those odds, and think about how they work and what they mean. I want you to spend some time thinking about how those different markets can interrelate to create arbitrage opportunities between them.
And while you are doing all of that, you should also have a look at your Moneybookers account and follow the steps outlined in it to increase your transaction limits. It is pretty straight forward, and as long as you do one or two of them, then you should find that your limits are large enough to handle even a large volume of arbitrage trading.
Well that's all for this video, I will see you in about two days time in the next video, by which time you should have created your Moneybookers account, increased the limits in that Moneybookers account, and opened up the 5 different bookmakers from the CompareBookmakers.com website! See you then.
