We take the 1962 Ford tractor out for a spin through a smalltown rural neighbourhood. YEEHAW! We're trying to scoop up a few bucketloads of free wood chips before the other local farmers grab them all. There are often small piles of OSB wood chips dumped off here by over weight truckers before they hit the weigh scales, and we want some as bark mulch to keep the weeds under control in our flower gardens.

It's a 1962 Ford 2000 Industrial, which has the backhoe and live hydraulics instead of the PTO for agricultural implements. It has the select-o-speed transmission and is the next generation after the popular Ford 8n or 9n tractor models.

  • you are a dumb ass. You only filled your buckets half full. How hard would it be to take along a scoop shovel to top them off? Lazy for sure, you wouldn't last a day on our farm.

  • AND I CAN TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE ON MY BI GREEN TRACTOR WE CAN GO SLOW OR MAKE IT GO FASTER!!! >:P

  • @NathansBackwoods i fixed it soon after buying it, the previous owner had disengaged the rear axle coupler, and dropped the linkage, it was a 10 minute fix, and the tractor works perfectly now.

the first year or 2 the select-o-speed had problems, after that it was actually a great, durable trans.

  • @asssface2000, If its not fluid have fun fixing it...a lot of tractor shops wont work on them...Those select-o-speeds weren't know to be very good trannys.

  • @RedneckHillbillies i fixed it, the previous owner had messed with the axle disconnect and dropped the linkage.
