what would the idol in your point be?

I 100% agree Christmas is a pagan holiday but like the Bible says about eating meat that was offered to false gods, the basic story is this guy who is gonna eat some meat that people did to honor a false God, but he is christian, so he asked God what to do, He replies saying basically if u eat the meat and in ur heart its 2 a false God its sin, if u are just eating the meat, then u have done nothing wrong..,

so if u celebrate christmas for God and Jesus and not pagan beliefs and lies about santa, then u arent doing anything wrong to God. in fact I think its nice 2 hve good family memories while doing a nice Christian thing like rembering jesus

With that i totaly agree, but God spesifically said He hates idol worship and if there an idol in ones home he must hate it? Christmas is a pagan worship day and ritual its out of hell and inspired by the devil to decieve people! thats not my opinion its facts. Please lok into it all you people, its a trap set by the devil himself!
I agree; I don't believe that December 25 is Jesus Christ's birthday; however, I do believe that we are to live every breathing moment in observation of his sacrifice.

Good point. To me, it doesn't matter when he was actually born. The point that we remember his birth and what his coming means for us. I wouldn't care if we celebrated it on Oct. 31.

About that tree behind you, please go read Jer 10, its a pagan idol! God hates idol worship, get rid of it or stop preaching in the name of Jesus. I dont follow men, i follow the word of God, and according to His word, christmas and everything around it is idol worship, Acts 15:20 KJV. Please go and reconsider what is said here and get rid of the idols as Joshua did! God bless those that does what He says...go and listen to His word!!

Jer. 10 is talking about idols that are crafted out of wood. Pay attention to the context, it will help you understand the passage.

Fab, Thanks for that Mike, thats really helpful. When you started i was fairly sure you would use that passage, but i had never thought of it in the Christmas context before. Thank you very much. A blessed Christmas and a Happy new year to you!

When I wanted to make the point of how we could give a gift to Jesus it was the first scripture that came to mind.
