Research EMF frequencies. If you do you would notice that cell phones and some other electronic devices are too high of a frequency for such a cheap meter with such a small frequency range. Cameras (such as the ones you were carrying) had the correct frequency to set your meter off. Please don't argue without being in a lab-like condition instead of your purse.
