The 1 person who disliked this fails to believe the TRUTH that Al Jourgensen actually wrote all of these songs

Ministry slowly lost it after With Sympathy. Great New Wave album, but everything after it slowly went the opposite direction. Twitch had 3 good songs, the rest sounded like a bunch of noise and static. Rape and Honey, not my album and all, and I never cared for the Metal stuff they came out with.
Surely this is my opinion on them, no need to freak out over it if you disagree with me.

He's probably referring to it being on no album

lol rare. Every fucking teen with taste had this on their walls and turntables.

This is how I met Ministry and have never thought anything different as they and we changed over the years.

This would be great mashed with Sanctify Yourself by Simple Minds although they'd have to slow the SM track down a bit.

I sooo prefere this to the generic thrash/industrial shit they have been releasing in the recent years. Ministry I love ended in 1995 on "Filth Pig"... Their downfall started with "Psalm 69". It was still a good album, though.

@bulletformygizmo It's not the same "guys". Al's the only one who wrote and played on all three tracks (of course, he'll deny having written Effigy or any of the pre-Twitch material just to keep up his lame "bad ass redneck metal" image or whatever it is he's going for).

why can't an artist write, play, record, and explore different sounds and music? i think it's all legit, very subjective, and we all have to realize people change and collaborate with other artists....why stay stagnate? this album is just as good as "Land Of Rape & Honey" or "Mind...". that doesn't mean he has to always go back there, but at least acknowlege its place in history as being very good music and influencial.

Razormaid should have remixed all this, and the singles from sympathy.

Damn good mix!
Al Jourgensen insists they made this album to sell records, but it's not the sound he liked, and once they got popular, he started steering the group in the direction he wanted.

@TheEricinSF
Al Jourgensen also is known to lie, very bad. Like how he claims With Sympathy is "garbage" yet a couple years back in 2009 he was writing a "synth pop" album and even released a poppy sounding Christmas song. So yeah I don't believe anything he says about this album, and I think it's the shit!
