@abhikmaj lol just randomly pick madanmohans song and see Ustad Rais Khan performing see the movie heer HASTE ZAKHM specialy aaj socha toh aansoo bhar aaye who is playing the awesome sitar without Rais khans sitar pieces this and many songs are incomplete unthinkable.

After playing the Ann Arbor Art Fair for 3 days back in 1969, I got the finger bleed from my sitar just like this vid. The crowd, all ghouls, loved it. RH - , their favorite ! Great theatre, this. Classic Bollywood.

What a pile of crap. Anyone with the slightest love of Hindustani music would be mortified at this pantomime. Vilayatkhani gharana indeed!

I agree. Listen to the sound and look at the finger position. When the sound is from 'taar saptak' the finger appears at 'mandra saptak.
