This grooming video was done in south Texas where in the winter time we are usually wearing shorts and t shirts because the temps are around 82 degrees, but just for the record golden retrievers are natural water dogs and will swim in frigid waters with pleasure.

Many times in south texas you must let the water hose run for a few minutes because the water is too hot to put on the dog due to the sunshine here

So not to worry!

american lines seem to have been bred with setter long time ago, because they are darker than english and thye have a lot of hair from the nexk to the breast like irish setters :O

It looks like a cold day out there. I hope you had some hot water coming out...too..lol Can't imagine jusT cold water on the poor dog, in a spring season, with no leaves on the trees.
