  • "The curriculum doesn't reflect the multiculturalism"? You're talking out of your ass.

Pick up an elementary level history book you'll learn about the persecution of the Chinese workers during the 20th century, the Native slavery a whole TEXTBOOK full of knowledge. Maybe when you're done with that you can get to the highschool level. Excuse - making ass.

  • a few pages in history text books regarding natives and the Chinese DOES NOT equal muliti-culturalism it equals tokenism. get your facts straight...come again

  • You ever walked through Forest Hill?

  • Fool! You dunno what is "black" is mean negroid race without colour of skin, you must think black only for dark skinned folks wrong! Black are MOST diversity than white is all bout skin!

  • wow, it'll start with a school for all blacks, then a school for all whites...and so on

  • do a google search of KRS-ONE: Hip Hop Beyond Entertainment.i will try pull this down and add it to my channel.

  • but the underlying message of hip hop as a coulture was about self empowerment and social responsibility, why do U think the powers that be only push the negative stuff.

check the early years of the movement, and even up to the mid 90's

btw I'm form Jamaica, and hip hop is just another offshoot of reggae.like how reggae is a off shoot of calypso, and Calypso off shoot of mento, mento offshoot of African music.

check out the lecture by KRS-ONE on google video that will with more info.

  • the same debate about reggae and it's misogynistic lyrics toward woman has been going on since I can remember, right now " hip hop " is getting the flak because it's listener base is about 10-1 worldwide compared to reggae.

the N word issues as well as the amount of violence in the music I agree with you on that.

  • lol BET, you gotta be kidding me.give me reggae,Calypso, Soca, rap crap no thank you!! why would i want to hear about someone being shot, then every second word is N or H, i dont think you could ever understand originaldna, I guess you were not born on the Islands cos you would never hear a bro calling a bro N word, YOu call yourself a preacher and you have no vision, talk about the blind leading the blind, how sad!!!

  • Man you are taking shit, the shit you watch on Bet(black exploitation televise) is not hip hop,

do yourself a favour and so some research on true hip hop. btw, hip hop is not just about rapping.

  • People are not born with hatred in their hearts for particular nationalities. If anyone turns into a racist, it is usually a result of bad government. When excessive numbers of immigrants are dumped into a society, to the point where the quality of life is effected, then it is natural for people to get angry. Canadian's do not hate immigrants, they are simply upset with the fact their quality of life is deteriorating as a result of excessive immigration. Negligent government destroyed Canada.

  • How much is enough? World history is incredibly complex and subjective. How would you define a multicultural education? You seem to expect quite a bit from the government in terms of educating you in a multicultural manner, when in reality, multicultural education arises primarily from personal interactions with people from other backgrounds, whether it be co-workers or classmates. Not sure what your point is...
