i think you should lower your strap, i hate high strap. make it lower like syu,

but if you can shred and sweep fast with lower strap like syu, that would prove that you're great, because many guitarist can't shred fast if their strap is lowered; lower than their belt. i am comfortable with higher strap but i like to lower my strap to try my best to see if i can shred fast in that way.
