@Alirsonnn Science and philosophy works well... but not religion. There is a big difference. Religion has fixed ideas that cant be changed. You cant just change whats written in the bible as science discovers whats really going on. The biblical creationstory will always be what it is, and this is the reason why they can never coexist.

im surprised this is a religious debate, most people who are wathcing this have an interest in it, but after reading the comments the other people are just trying to force their religion. you have faith in God that's fine, im happy for you, but me i have faith in science and discovery. Remember according to you god created me, DONT JUDGE HIS CREATION. he wanted me to have faith in science not a zombie. (sorry to anyone i may have offened, but fuck off)

Wow, can't believe some people are actually doubting this. Much of this has been known for the last 30 years, thanks to the great work of Hawkins and others. Its not a story, its fact. Don't believe it if you like, it doesn't stop it from being true.

Lol god is a creation of man. One created out of fear and ignorance of the unknown. Progress and discovery have expanded our knowledge and decreased our need for a crutch to explain away things. Never has a scientific discovery been replaced by a supernatural one. So yes, god was created, and is now of no further use when it comes to rational thought and discovery, and should be put away with the likes of Thor, Loki, Osiris, Horus et al.
