Travel Illinois - Superman Festival Guiness World Record

Each second weekend of June, the quiet town of Metropolis, Ill. comes alive as thousands of Superman fans fill the streets to spend four days celebrating the "Man of Steel." Two years ago the festival was extra special as Metropolis broke the Guinness Book of World Records for gathering "The Most People Dressed as Superman" on Father's Day.
