@silageman the future is open. More and more manufactures offer linux drivers. Often these drivers come into the kernel itself, so you dont even have to install them manually.

@Aliyns GNOME can find wine for you automaticly, and install it automaticly for you, to open the exe file. Less than 5 minutes. Can Windows open ELF binary linux files? N00B

welcome to a world of trying a few distros and then after install find your pc's wirless card is not supported, so you spend a month looking for drivers, kernel patches but no it just dont work it cant even fully support all hardware out of box or at least provide drivers.. Fuck off im going back to win 7 that was free too also i have adobe photoshop,dreamweaver, sony vegas pro, adobe flash,adobe lightroom, ms office 2010 pro... it can all be free if you want it to be, linux is a waste of space
