Happy New Year! Camera Man Arrested for
Obstruction at this Fire Scene,You can Clearly hear the Fire Command Saying Your Good &That he Will let Them Know (Them is The Police).......As I Kindly Asked permission to Film This Incident & Asked The Fire Dept. For the Police To Be Asked to Let me Do My Job,I was Not in the way at all...I was Treated Badly By ONE Police Officer that was There,And ONE Sergeant at The Police Station Threatened me With Violence

As the Video Shows i was Standing out of the way,Across the Street Using my Zoom Lense to Film
You can Hear in the Beginning of the Video the Police Officer telling me to Shut The Camera Off. The Police Officers Name is Chris Mandernak
I Feel He Should Be Fired for what he Did to Me..
HeTreated the Dog from the Fire Better than He Did me in That Squad Car & At The Police Station...What a Slap in the Face to me & all the Donations of video I do for the Fire Service ,I have traveled with A Local Swat Team That Consists of Police Officers from 25 suburbs to World Swat Challenge in Arkansas 3 years in a Row for 21 Days of free Filming & The ILState Police are Great People that I have done Free Work for because they Treat me so well at all their Scenes...They are True Professionals
As with many other Agencies in the Area...They Know im always willing to help them out anytime with Photos & DVD Videos For Free to be used for Training.
I want Everyone to know What Happened to me Was Wrong
I wouldnt Wish This Kind Of Treatment On Anyone


I was Handcuffed & Put in a Police Car That Contained the Homeowner (Fire Victim) & His Dog
My Vehicle was Impounded for No Reason at all,Im Sure to just Generate Revenue,as they Charge for a Tow Release at the Police Station Before you have to pay $215.00 at Towing Company to get it released...Its all a Money Making Scam,I kinda Felt LIke a Robbery Victim After this Incident

@7089540230 The officer was NOT fired and he was NOT forced to resign! He left about 6 months after this incident at his own will. The camera man was arrested for not complying to police orders and obstructing and he had illegal lights in his car.

Todd, I am so sorry that this happned to you when you did nothing wrong. Knowing Dixmoor, I'm sure that actual crimes were being comitted while you were being arrested for no valid reason.

May I suggest that you file a complain with whichever state, or county agency that would have jurisdiction in these matters?

Ironically, I have a co-worker that was robbed, harassed, assualted, & followed by a few Des Plainespolice officers last week.

Dixmoor is just a small s**ole city but there FD is great the cop was just being a *pig* and arrested u because thats money for the village and revenue and just wanted to gain more money by arresting you because i will admit Dixmoor is pretty rough crime wise but there FD is always working hard Great video Todd!!!!!!!!!!
