the benefits of a masters degree depends on your industry, the economy, and/or actual job experience.

  • I agree with your video. But at the end of the day, I would rather have a Master's Degree than not have one.

  • in the end, its better to have one than not have one but it may take some time for it to pay off with the way the economy is going.

  • Biggest bull crap I've ever heard, especially Janx. Master Degrees are worthless these days. Too overqualified for some jobs.

  • A Masters program can be very benificial, especially if you choose and elaborate your *Masters dissertation* carefully, it is a great way to enter the job market with a trompet and get your career a kick-off start.

  • 4:41 First, an employer will tell a junior-candidate what they have to offer (salarywise) and the junior-candidate will accept that offer or not. It is not the other way around, baring in mind the fact that a recently graduated person has often a rather limited workexperience to offer. Second, nowadays companies dont offer any permanent contracts, at all. Moreover, they expect people to be flexible and manage their careers on their own.

  • Pros or cons don't matter none to me seeing that I don't have what it takes to get a masters degree no how.
