Yes, supplies from the USA were important.
The USA did a good thing by sending England supplies.
Lease- Lend was also a good thing, and the RAF Eagle squadron was also a good thing. All important stuff to remember.

We could even add the Poles etc who flew in the battle of Britain, everyone deserves recognition.

@2210ethan....YES that's right,annihilated. Britain had lost it's colonies in Asia by the Japs,and Germany was unstoppable in Europe before she became bogged down in Russia. They should have concentrated on North Africa.Without U.S. support Africa/Middle East would have been lost to the British as well.

Actually dude, Japan didn't declare war on England until December 1941. By this time, there was no threat of German invasion.

US support was definitely vital for England, just as the English refusal to surrender, to go on fighting, was vital for civilisation.
