I have no idea what the true context of this scene is, but I still think it's hilarious. Betty White appears as a woman named Brenda, who apparently has a romantic interest in Mac, and when she tracks him down via phone and calls him, telling him he could do more than hear her voice if she knew where he lived, he tells Zack to get him an unlisted street number. Thanks to Eddie for the scene.

  • It wasn't more than a scene or 2, and she wasn't in the same room with anyone else--it was just phone calls.

  • This was actually part of a contest NBC did called 'Where's Betty?'--you had to watch Days, AW, and Santa Barbara then when you saw Betty on each one you send in a form to NBC saying what date/ep/show she was on. I don't know what the prize was.

The AW cameo (I think) was that Brenda not only was an old girlfriend of Mac's, but was arranging for Cory Publishing to publish a book about her that she wrote. Rachel didn't seem too bothered that an old girlfriend would call Mac out of the blue.
