Melama Man here, reporting to Quake Headquarters.
Those were the ol' good days, tweaking the Quake II game to super rocketjump, binding a script of one's invention on HEAT.NET's server or cheating using the Ratbot's autoaim, lol, that was fun.

Code-Red from the Quake lobby WAY back. I really miss playing Death Drone, that was an excellent Tron-style game.

@dhahlen No, Reniu (Doug) won POTY in 1997. I won it in 1998. I was also pretty good at Battlezone. ;)

@PizzaParlorArcade Nice. Aside from the stuff I bought with degrees, I won a Dreamcast in the Quake: Da Bomb lobby. As a 15 year old kid with no job, I have never been so excited in my life.
