  • Only the best comes out of Isreal

  • Perfect for zombies ;]

  • @crazylalalalala yes, the americans made one called the "grizzly" ane though i cannot remember the name, the russians made one for the police that was recently unveiled, that is lighter an faster then the grizzly.

  • @jrobertsmvi

technically, you really cant protect against an IED. its always way way cheaper to just make a bigger IED.

IED resistant trucks are absurdly expansive and you can easily out bomb them.

having said taht i wouldnt say that these vehicles are the best i their class.

  • @NiamOfAsuras

are there light vehicles with axial protection?

(Not picking a fight, i would just like to look it up)

  • @NiamOfAsuras No they showed the underside of one vehicle, which had nothing covering the axels, meaning the crew would have to get out or become sitting ducks once the axels were broken.

  • @NiamOfAsuras they did mention mine protection... I guess that they just don't tell and show everything.

  • The golan doesnt hav any mine protection plate -> 1 mine, lots of very dead soldiers and lost expensive hardware.

  • ok but what happens when you shoot those tires?

  • @Nubiex7 well, actually, the absence of a V shaped hull, is what makes them weak vs IEDs. If you watch the video and look at the underside of the vehicle you can see the driveshaft. Vshaped hull vehicles have all the major components behind the armored hull. I don't need the schematics to know that the underbelly construction that you can SEE in the video is weak against IED's and other mines. it may do great vs small arms and rockets, but the underside is weak, and thats a major flaw.
