I composed this falseta for him and this is at the end of his second lesson on the material. He got the notes memorized after the first class and we worked on rhythm the second class. He is doing great and I am proud of his progress after working with me for 2 years.

Age really doesn't matter. If you approach flamenco with the same enthusiasm you will play the way you want to. Decide how it is you want to play and then you will figure out how to make it happen. It will be work, but the work is all of the fun. It all about the journey, not the destination.

JASON whats the chances of getting online tutition from you. I have been playing flamenco on and off for over 20 yrs but i now live on a remote island called Guernsey and there are no flamenco teachers.

I have a lot of technique but dont really play much stuff and need some guidance.. what are the chances?

True, I'm learning from a teacher named Dennis Koster who was taught by Mario Escudero and Sabicas. Lucky me, he's only doing half of it though. I have the practice to gain the other half.

Thanks for the encouragement man! I was just saying, he's quite lucky. I tried a little Bulerias on my own, pashaswease horrible. Now I really appreciated Bulerias.

I've never seen a student and teacher look that happy while jamming before!
