  • Pretty few mods for as fast as it goes. I can't believe I wasted so much money making my car go fast supercharged.... (I have an M112 setup, ported/polished/machined everything, headers, 3" exhaust, 1.9 rockers, too much to list)... Still would lose in top-end to that thing... sick...

  • I have a friend with similar mods to yours with a Gen V blower running mid to low 12's.

  • @dudu1973CA Unless your dad's GTP was highly modified you weren't anywhere near 180 mph in that car you fucking dumbass.

  • @mrsarcastis13

    True.

That's no good... I never knew that.

  • @wildman00sax If he is runnign a 160* T stat the needle would go to the 1/4 mark on the gauge. You gotta be careful with 160* T stats too because the knock sensors don't activate until the coolant temp is past 160*. I've heard stories abut guys popin pistons because of it.

  • @mrsarcastis13

    Probably running a 160* thermostat.

  • Temp gauge broke or are you running it not warmed up yet? That's one bad ass GTP!

  • Sick! Hopefully my turbo project will be done soon here.....98 Gtp L32 motor, xp cam, new timing chain, spring ect. Still have gen 5 blower, not on the car, currently have gen 3 blower with block off plate, 60lbs injectors.....31x12x3 intercooler and a 60-1 turbo from sinister drag designs on e-85

  • @BallisticTorch wait what im sorry i dont get what your trying to say

  • @ThriftyCougar Not power lag, wrong word :) Power loss. I'm still not awake today.

  • @ThriftyCougar I'm the same person, that's my old account. Turbos and superchargers do things differently. Turbos are more fuel efficient but you run the risk of more damage to the engine if you over boost. I run 10 psi with the 'charger I have and the 3.4 pulley and no risk to boost creep or spike. However, I use a lot more fuel and there is the parasitic power lag that is inherent with 'chargers. Turbos are certainly good, you just have to mod more carefully.

  • @BColemanEXD im thinking about modding my car 00' gtp although is turbo really that much better? and i do love the sound of superchargers and the look
