    It's stamped SFS or 5F5 and is stamped with an underline as well.the exterior(besides the sawcut) appears tumbled or passivated or possibly even a plating.

    I found a sawn off part, a stub of a casting two small flat diameters with a flat larger diameter top. appears hacksawn-off. letters stamped in the top are SGS (or something like that) it could be pot metal. probably unrelated to that vehicle.

    Yeah, the cover for the speedometer/odometer cable at the transmission was missing when they put it on the dealer when i was considering buying it. The salesman at the dealer assured me it would be replaced. They worked on it and the other guy worked on it. The other guy leaves fingerprints everywhere though.
