that angle between your turbo inlet hose and your air filter hose looks pretty sharp and constrictive - maybe It's just a bad camera angle, though.

You dont need a tune. If you want to get the most from the upgrade you need a tune to dial in afr and more timing.

@pschar31 After switching to a T-trim and upgrading the internals I made 675rwhp. Turbos are nice but I still had fun. Look up on Vortech's website under the Barely Legal section. You will see happened after the T-trim was added.

how do you like your meth? i was thinking of getting that for my 08 GT/CS

since i'm running without an intercooler it was a much needed upgrade. My IATs were in the 200s without the 50/50 mixture of Water/Meth. It allowed my tuner to run max timing without worries. I pulled 470hp to the wheels at 6200 when we shut it down. At 6500 it would have hit 490+. This is on a stock shortblock so we stopped there.
