John McCain can't escape the Keating Five Scandal. Keating's former top lobbyist gave money to his campaign just last year.

  • Ron Paul for US President 2012!

  • After a nearly two-year investigation, the committee exonerated McCain and Democratic senator John Glenn, who, it just so happens, spoke at an Obama rally yesterday.

    The truth hurts, doesn't it?

  • McCain is a old senile crook. He has the nerve to try and tie Obama with the terroist that bomb that building when Obama was 8 years old. Dont throw stones ShitCane when you live in a glass house youself.

  • History records of the Keating 5:

"After a lengthy investigation, the Senate Ethics Committee determined in 1991 that , Alan Cranston (D-CA), Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ), and Donald W. Riegle (D-MI),had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings. Senators John Glenn (D-OH), and John McCain (R-AZ) were cleared of having acted improperly but were criticized for having exercised "poor judgment"."

  • McCain was indeed an actual member of the Keating 5.

McCain was also the one who was personally closest to Keating. And his wife and her father were very close to Keating.

  • nice, the other 4 guys were democrates and John McCain wasnt charged with anything after the investigation, they said he broke no laws and did nothing wrong. finish the story pal.

  • Crooked pasty bastard aint he

  • Can someone answer this for me - was John McCain involved with the Keating 5 or was he an actual member of the Keating 5 ? Or is there some middle area?

  • McCain and his family made at least 9 trips at Keating's expense, three of which were to Keating's Bahamas retreat. McCain did not disclose the trips as required to under House rules until the scandal broke in 1989. At that point, he paid Keating $13,433 for the flights.
