This I am putting forward as my suggestion to close the gender-parity gap; enabling communication through creative medias. Enabling women to be part of that communication.
The question is 1. Who has identified their need 2. And who have been consulted to decide what resources are needed to address that need.
World Bank Study - Participatory Approach to addressing gender-related poverty
When rural, underpriviledge communities were asked: how would you define poverty? They defined poverty as the lack of voice.
Suggestions
1. Provide women with the safe physical space to identify their social and economic concerns. Many women fear a threat to their lives and insecurities when they voice their opinion
2. Mobilise YOUNG PEOPLE to explore creative projects to allow women to voice their views (short films, books, presentations in schools, video-blogs)
3. Allow a platform for exchange for these people
4. Support mechanism by leaders/corporations
