Thats respect right there. I'm a RAIDERS fan too, but you gotta give it up for Joe... he's the best QB ever (personal opinion).

@therealfmb Montana didnt destroY elway. Montana destroyed the Broncos Defense. Montana had a team of miraculous offensive players around him while Elway had a team of fairly good players around him. I love Montana big time but i just dont think he was better than Elway. Im not sayin Elway is better either. Just dont think Montana was better than Elway..

The NFL could just put a rule in saying if you get a felony conviction or 3 misdemeanor convictions while under NFL contract you are banned for life. This way you get rid of the idiots misbehaving off the field.

That 5-11 seasons was a fluke. All but one of their losses were by more than a touchdown.
And they were in the playoffs 4 of the previous 7 seasons.
The 49ers, on the other hand, prior to their first Super Bowl were atrocious. They were St. Loius Rams bad...

Walsh and the 49ers of the 80's simply special, from the top all the down. The only fair comparison is with Lombardi's Packers. Both teams were simply in a class apart. You just don't get that kind of a mix in sports but every generation or two.
